Innovation has long been part of Resolute’s business strategy. Some examples include:
- The commercial facility specializing in the production of cellulose filaments, a sustainable biomaterial with a variety of applications, currently under construction at our Kénogami (Quebec) paper mill.
- The thermomechanical pulp biorefinery (TMP-bio) located at our Thunder Bay (Ontario) pulp and paper mill, which employs a patented technology developed by FPInnovations for the commercial production of large quantities of biosourced chemicals.
- The construction of a third phase expansion of Toundra Greenhouse, a cucumber-growing complex located in Saint-Félicien (Quebec), in which Resolute holds a 49% interest.
