Resolute recognizes the benefits of strong leadership. That’s why we believe it’s important to support our leaders, present and future, by developing the skills they need to flourish in their jobs.
The human resources teams at our Thunder Bay (Ontario) facilities have done just that by offering a series of leadership training sessions to supervisors, superintendents and crew leaders working in our Ontario sawmills, paper mill and woodlands operations. The goal of the program is to promote a culture of leadership and to provide valuable, real-world skills. Among the topics covered are situational leadership, effective communication and problem-solving.
The first group to enroll in the program graduated last week, and a second group has already begun their training. Another session is planned for the fall.
Employees appreciate the in-depth learning and are eager to road-test their new skills.
