Employees at our Hialeah (Florida) tissue mill mobilized quickly to donate a truckload of paper towels, facial tissue and bath tissue to support those impacted by the devastating string of earthquakes that hit Turkey in February.
We directed the in-kind donation through Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), a non-profit organization founded in 2011 as a first responder to global disasters that takes an innovative, proactive approach to emergency relief. Our local partner North American Transport Services provided transportation free of charge from our Hialeah mill to a GEM facility on March 7.
We applaud our outstanding team members for their prompt response in making this donation possible. Resolute stands in solidarity with affected communities as they overcome this crisis and work towards recovery and rebuilding.
