On September 28, Resolute won two Globee® Awards at the 14th annual Women World Awards® competition.
Lori Kilgour, senior vice president, process improvement and chief information officer, received the gold award in the Excellence in Industry Woman of the Year – Manufacturing category for her contributions to Resolute’s growth and success, a well-deserved honor that reflects her leadership of major IT projects that have enhanced the efficiency, productivity and sustainability of our business.
The company itself won a silver Globee in the Achievement in Developing and Promoting Women category for introducing a board-level diversity policy requiring a minimum 25% representation of each gender.
Lori is an inspirational leader who is making a difference by advocating for diverse and inclusive workplaces that reflect today’s society. She encourages women as well as ethnic and visible minorities to consider a career in IT and in forest products, believing strongly that more diversity in decision-making will lead to better decisions and improved business performance over time.
“I’d like to thank the Women World Awards for celebrating women in business,” said Lori. “I am proud that, throughout my 28-year career in the forest products industry, I have succeeded in helping my employers innovate and prepare for the future while supporting my colleagues in achieving their professional and personal goals safely and responsibly.”
Congratulations, Lori!
