Today, the Business Intelligence Group (BIG) honored Resolute with both a Sustainability Leadership and a Sustainability Initiative of the Year Award in its 2021 Sustainability Awards program. The annual awards program honors those who have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice.
The judging panel praised Resolute for taking bold action to combat climate change and for managing the resources in our care with the highest respect. The judges noted that by targeting a 30% reduction in our direct greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (scope 1 and 2) by 2025, we are once again demonstrating carbon leadership and differentiating the company as the environmental supplier of choice within the forest products industry.

BIG’s proprietary and unique scoring system selectively measures performance across multiple business domains and then rewards those companies whose achievements stand above those of their peers. Other winners of the Sustainability Leadership Award included FexEx Ground, IBM, Mastercard, PepsiCo.
