Resolute congratulates the 2021 winners of the annual Green Dream Internship Program, and welcomes our two newest interns – Maïka Lambert and Charles Martel!
Maïka has joined the team at our Saint-Félicien (Quebec) pulp mill, while Charles’ internship is taking place at our Saint-Thomas (Quebec) sawmill.
Launched by the Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) in 2013, the Green Dream program highlights the sustainability of Canada’s forest products sector, as well as the rewarding careers the sector offers. Resolute has proudly participated in the program since its inception.
In a press release , FPAC President and CEO Derek Nighbor shared his thoughts on the Green Dream program:
“Despite the many challenges presented by COVID-19, we have been very pleased to see strong interest in proceeding with summer internships from Canadian forest companies and students alike. The Green Dream Internship Program not only provides development opportunities for young Canadians, but it also gives them a first-hand look at our commitment to sustainable forest management, advancing Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and communities, and the growing demand for our sector’s green products.”
As always, the Green Dream interns will be blogging about their experiences. Follow Maïka and Charles’s blogposts on our Facebook page!
