Resolute is proud to be providing essential products during these unprecedented times, and our employees are working hard to ensure those products reach the people who need them.
Two weeks ago, we encouraged our operations across the company to identify opportunities to contribute to community organizations in critical need of immediate relief during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of our facilities promptly answered the call with financial as well as in-kind contributions, building on Resolute’s $40,000 corporate donation to United Way Centraide Canada’s COVID-19 community response funds.
The engagement of our operations has now brought our total contributions to more than $250,000, and that doesn’t even include in-kind donations of masks, safety equipment, bath tissue and other materials that several facilities have made.
Local television stations recently aired segments featuring the actions of our Thunder Bay (Ontario) and Sanford (Florida) operations in response to COVID-19. We are proud of our employees at each of our operations for their generosity and community spirit. We are RESOLUTE PROUD, and we are all in this together.
