In November 2015, Resolute Forest Products acquired Atlas Paper Holdings, a U.S. manufacturer of tissue products for the away-from-home and private-label at-home markets. Atlas Paper offers both virgin fiber and recycled products in a wide range of grades. Branded products are marketed under the Windsor Place®, Green Heritage®, Bunny Soft® and Harmony® trademarks.
Atlas Paper’s recycled tissue products are:
- Made from 100% recycled wastepaper.
- Composed of more than 20% post-consumer content.
- 100% chlorine-free.
- Produced using a source-reducing array of waste raw material sources, eliminating thousands of pounds of waste from entering landfills annually.
- Qualified for LEED® certification points, representing exceptional customer value when compared to other certifiably green tissue-based products.
The Green Heritage products also carry the Green Seal™ certification mark of environmental responsibility, assuring customers they are choosing truly “green” products that are better for their health and the environment.
Atlas Paper’s manufacturing process and end products are dedicated to reducing the company’s environmental footprint by saving landfill space, water consumption and energy.
