When non-forest sources of paper are presented as more sustainable than using wood pulp, there’s a lot of information being left out of the story. Their impacts can be broadly the same. It depends on what you measure and how you measure it.

Relying on crops to produce paper and pulp is not a panacea, and avoiding the use of wood is not necessarily the best way to protect forests.   • Well this article really explained great facts about the two, but either of the two is really the problem. The real problem is the abusive use of those products or simply using it without control is the real problem.
